The Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) received a courtesy visit from the Acting Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Mr Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana.
During the visit, Mr. Aggrey Santana chanced on the staff members of GTDC in a training session. He therefore took the opportunity to share strategic insights on how GTDC could make the sector more attractive to investors. He emphasised the importance of establishing effective marketing platforms to promote Ghana’s tourism potential to the diaspora and local communities. He noted that by curating engaging travel packages, the country could significantly boost international and domestic tourist arrivals..

Mr Santana expressed confidence in Prof. Kobby Mensah’s leadership, assuring staff that under his guidance, GTDC would reclaim its status as the tourism development arm of the Ministry of Tourism rather than being perceived solely as a tour and car rental company. He urged staff members to support the CEO in achieving his vision and objectives for the organization.
