Kwadwo Odame Antwi is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Development Company and leads the team that
has the mandate to develop Ghana’s Tourism infrastructure and also invest in the sector. Before joining the GTDC, Kwadwo
Antwi was the Head of Business Development and Strategy at Ghana Union Assurance. He had previously worked on the
World Bank funded Ghana Urban Transport Project in introducing needed reforms in the public transportation system in
Ghana, including the implementation of the Bus Rapid Transit System, popularly known as ’Aayalolo’.
He had impressive working times with some of the biggest Media Groups in the Country and was also spent considerable
working with the team at Ghana Grains Council to improve post harvest management and warehouse receipt systems.
Within a couple of years of taking office at the Ghana Tourism Development Company, he has transformed the company to
admirable standards noticed by all stakeholders including shareholders, industry practitioners, staff of the Company and
other external stakeholders.
Mr. Antwi is a graduate of the University of Ghana Business School and GIMPA Greenhill College respectively. He is a team
player and leader, endowed with persuasive leadership abilities.
Kwadwo Odame Antwi is married with five children and a lover of the Arts and Sports, especially tennis and golf.
